The music program at Fossil Ridge High School has won many state and national awards for excellence. The Choral Music program consists of four curricular choirs and many extra-curricular singing opportunities. The choir program features two choral directors and a full-time accompanist working together to meet the needs of over 200 students during the school day. Many students choose to take several choirs, and many are also heavily involved in the Musical Theatre program and/or the Instrumental Music program. Music Technology and two levels of Music Theory are offered to provide a comprehensive music department at Fossil Ridge. Students in the FRHS Choir Program leave musically literate and well rounded in the Choral art. Many have been offered significant talent based scholarships at Universities throughout the United States.
