Tenth Bass is the auditioned mixed acapella group at Fossil Ridge, and consists of grades 10-12. Students in Tenth Bass perform music from the contemporary acapella genre, and sing without instruments or accompaniment. Tenth Bass meets before school and students are required to be in SaberCat Singers or Fossil Fusion as well to sing in Tenth Bass. Tenth Bass performs at 4 school concerts, and have competed in various acappella festivals and competitions.  Students in Tenth Bass attend an annual leadership retreat at the YMCA of the Rockies in August.
